Anyway I was wondering if you could have a total at the bottom of the page to indicate the number of times there was an "invalid fix" or better the number of times "sats in use" in GSA was below 3. Ideally we could have a way of giving a start time and end time in excel so that we're comparing exactly the same log, right now I edit them manually to have same start and same end.

1. Modul2 eingefügt.
2. altes UserForm gelöscht und durch DlgFarbwert ersetzt.
3. Globale Variable "Abbruch" angelegt
4. Aufruf von SpeiOrt in GPSLog erweitert
5. SpeiOrt komplett über-"genudelt"....
Modul2 ist so ne Art Standardmodul inzwischen. Dieses Modul bildet die "CommonDialogs" des OS nach.
Habe aber alles wieder schön brav gekennzeichnet......

Die Luft bei mir ist raus - Du weißt, wie gut ich in den tieferen Gebilden der VB-Programmierung bin. Einiges hatte ich schon gefunden. Den Rest nehme ich mir gelegentlich mal vor.
Bleibst Du noch da??? Guillaume hat einen Wunsch, die "Übersetzung" ist aber nicht interpretierbar. Habe ihn gebeten, es im Original nochmal zu posten, kann sein, dass ich dann Übersetzungshilfe brauche.
Den Zauberlehrling hat er wohl auch nicht so recht übersetzen können....

da haben wir es schon. Ich kann Guillaumes Posting nicht genau genug übersetzen. Kannst Du behilflich sein? Verstehe jetzt weder die autom. Übersetzung noch das Original. Hier ist mein Wortschatz überfordert, der des autom. Übersetzeres wohl auch.

Also ich versteh dass jetzt mal folgendermaßen:
Er würde gern eine Zusammenstellung der Zeiten haben, in denen ein Fix vorhanden bzw. nicht vorhanden ist. Also quasi wenn man mit zwei Mäusen gleichzeitig ein Log aufnimmt, und diese beiden Logs dann gegenüberstellt. Maus "A" hatte von Zeit xy bis yz Fix und Maus "B" hatte von Zeit yy bix yx keinen Fix. Hm, grundsätzlich ist die Idee nicht schlecht, ich fürchte aber, dass die Umsetzung etwas schwierig werden könnte.

Nachtrag: Zusätzlich glaube ich, dass er eine Art "Beschneidung" der Logs wünscht. Sprich man gibt einen Start- und Endzeit an, die für den Vergleich herangezogen werden soll......????
Die Fix-Zeiten kann ich mir mal überlegen. Mit der Beschneidung - da möchte ich nicht unbedingt dran, denn das habe ich bislang über einen einfachen Text-Editor gemacht. Da geht das zwar etwas mühsam, aber wirkungsvoll.
Übrigens:
Vergleich von 2 Mäusen. Dafür war die Farbauswahl:
- 1. Maus grün, 2. Maus gelb
- Auswertung (Worksheet) 1 copy, insert on the end from Worksheet 2,
- sort on Time.
Dann sind abwechselnd Maus 1 und Maus 2 untereinander, aber farblich unterschieden.
Ist nicht sehr toll auszuwerten, ich stelle später mal ein Beispiel rein. Dauert aber etwas, so gegen 9:00 o clock.

could be useful becuse SIRF chipsets (and otherds) sometimes say 2D with sometimes 1 or 2 satellites in the fix...

or

2DFix 2 (...) times ?
Its difficulty, about GSA can be all 1 sec, all 3 sec, all 5 sec, (1 to 9). Here all 3 sec.
Here sat in use is from 12:41:16 to 12:41:18..., but in this Example in use are 0, and this is realy not what You mean.

Automatic comparison would be perfect, but manual comparison the info about the fix would be a good start
An Example:
2 logs,see also "Noch Interpretation"
1. Leadtek 9553

I have cut both logs to 13:00:00.
load 9553 with color "Standard",copie - manually - here EC745/U2 to an new Sheet (insert bevore), (give it a name??)
go to "GPSLog
load 9537 with another color (like yellow "Gelb"), copie here EC1231/U6 - no Headerlines - and past it in tho new scheet at bevor at A743
select all, but not Header-lines, in Germany-Excel: "Daten/sortieren/Spalte A"
And now, start at row 491, You have alternated 9553/9537/9553/9537.....
Do You understand? Is it practicable, helpfully, is'nt it?
I send both logs (cut) and a Detail, Excel-File is to big, 6 MB.
You see: 9553 GSV=1, 9537 GSV=5!
Yes, it works here too.
With this you can compare line by line, but not very easy to draw conclusions
