Atmos VDO-Pn6000 EXtended Menu (Beta release )

    Im atmos menü steht verweis auf mobile navigator.exe, bei mir
    tom tom navigator .exe, version mit mobile navigator .exe kann ich nicht finden

    may I please ask why this is so quiet here :O)


    I been following this with great Interest have used the Menu now for a few weeks and modified it to my taste completely ..

    Since today i own one of these BT/TMC cradle and unfortunately I can report : TMC and BT do not work with version of IGO 8.3 :-D) :-D)



    I have not tried much yet but standard it does nto work ..
    maybe something to do with the ports ???


    Any test you want me to do let em know Iam itching to get thie working because I use IGO8 and REALLY like it MUCH better then VDO software

    I've also tried with the TMC cradle, but didn't get it to work.
    You have to use a port splitter but i don't know what port the TMC receiver uses.


    I'll keep trying.
    If you have any suggestions please let me know

    seems to me RDS,1 as found in an other post.
    but i think you also need the TMC_Driver found in orig SW

    Probably not port 1 though ...and we do have a port splitter in the Atmos menu but i think its not the problem ..I might be wrong but I think the signal is not on the same port as the gps ...?? No?


    I think the problem is the Navi because TMC signal comes from the cradle not the Nav

    i 've already tried port=RDS,1 but no succes, thats why i think we need the TMC_driver.dll from vdo software

    I'm sorry but I had some problems (2008 was not a good year for me and 2009 seems to be worse) .



    Ok, pre-final release seems to run well.


    Now let me know your feedback, problems, improvement, recommendations and I'll try to publish the final version...

    P.s. for TMC issue at the moment i can't do nothing because I don't have a TMC Cradle.

    Only TMC as discussed and also BT i cant get to work


    the TMC problem is a bit odd I rekon the signal is split in the cradle and not really the same as the GPS ..
    So unfortunately iam using VDO again as I like tmc and also the BT feature of the cradle


    I cannot seem to work the gps port program and anything else but source: 0 to comport: 1 doesnt work

    Hallo, ich bin "neu" hier, zumindest als aktiver Schreiber. Euer Forum kenne ich schon eine ganze Weile als silent reader. :) Erst einmal ein dickes Lob an alle, welche sich hier an den Projekten beteiligen und einbringen!!!


    Jetzt habe ich leider das Problem, dass ich mit Atmos VDO-Pn6000 Extended Menu auf meinem neuen Navi (selbiges) es einfach nicht hinbekomme, dass Mobile Navigator 7 das GPS Modul anspricht.


    Ich habe schon alle möglichen Einstellungen in der UserSettings.xml und Version.xml durchrobiert. Kein Erfolg... Vielleicht habe ich noch nicht die korrekten Einstellungen? :-D)


    Hat es jemand zum Laufen bekommen? Und wenn ja, kann er/sie hier bitte die Einstellungen der *.xml posten? Wäre sehr nett und könnte sicher auch anderen helfen.


    Noch eine grundsätzliche Frage. Ist es notwendig den Resident Flash Ordner auf die SD-Card zu kopieren? Ich habe das (bis jetzt) noch nicht gemacht, dass Extended Menu läuft totzdem?!

    check mal den im Atmos menü den virtcommng dort muss com0: und 38400 auf Source dunkelgrau und Virtual Com Port auf COM1: dunkelgrau sein und activate auch dunkelgrau...kannst auch testen mit button "TEST GPS" wenn da was nicht stimmt kannst lange fummeln....

    Diese Einstellungen passen! Hatte dann ganz offensichtlich nicht die richtige Kombination aus GPSPort und Baudrate.

    Atmos Final Pre benötigt den Residentflash ordner ?! weil er von da die vdo software lädt ?!


    wenn du die beta noch nutzt ist es nicht notwendig.


    kleiner Tip von mir schau dir dies mal an..da bist 2 schritte weiter
