I had a similar problem with my experiments to shut off the DVB-T application. When I tried to kill the tara.exe with a taskmanager, the pn6000 did stop working.
But I could update the firmware from the SD-card and everything was ok.
By the way, I also tried the files from atmos. I did not get any problems with the pn6000. But I have seen that the date and time inside the DVB-T application is reset to 1.1.1970 00:00. So the EPG does not work.
Also you can use quicklaunch.exe to escape from the navigation (spike.exe)
but this does not work if the DVB-T is active.
Attention !!! Do not shut down spike.exe or tara.exe with a taskmanager !!!
