As i see, your solution would at first have your extended menu to be installed (to get the total commander and make the gps port settings). I am not sure at the moment what to do with the GPS settings: do i have to use the portsplitter again? That would not be possible if all folders except igo8 on the sd card are deleted. Or is the vdoservice.exe you gave me the renamed portsplitter.exe?

It would be great if you can give me a step-by-step manual how to implement this on a brandnew PN 6000

Please give me some more informations what happens with the GPS settings....thanks in advance!

1) ok I can make an automatized way to have what you want, I suggest to use the copy of residentflash, but I need time, I can't follow two separate projects together

2) (and @ all) if you use the "delete registry" button then cut OFF the device and then use the original SD or delete vdoservice.exe in your SD your PN6000 become like a new PN6000 (note that every programs you've used like IGO8 and others leave some little traces in the registry with or without my extended menu, but I think that this is not a real problem).

3) if you want use only IGO8 with the original menu without original navigation software you do not need to use port splitter, but you must change the gps port in registry first, and you must re-change this GPS port before use the original navigation software, I can make this change with the button of the original games but be patient

@ JEWUWA: your problem is absolutely strange, maybe, do you have renamed the new-vdoservice.nfrun first of the complete installation?

I'm pretty sure that you have renamed the vdoservice.nfrun or there's others problem with "your" installation.

If you follow well the installation instructions , you cannot have these problems

But don't worry

You must use "registry" (don't delete registry") and the turn OFF and ON

But Do you have copied all the ResidentFlash in a folder with the same name in your memory card?

Obviously you must have already copied all my files in your SD.

Don't rename nothing, use vdoservice.nfrun that you have in my files

Turn OFF and On, do not touch nothing (port splitter or other) then use the tiny icon of my menu and go to the application page click on "total commander" now with Total commander copy all the ResidentFlash folder in your SD in a folder with the same name "ResidentFlash"

Turn Off and On

That's all

OK, with your pc rename in your SD vdoservice.nfrun like you want (example oldvdoservice.nfrun) and put this files that I've uploaded for you

Now you should copy ResidentFlash in SD with total commander, then (at the same time with total commander or with your pc) delete vdoservice.nfrun (that I've uploaded now) and rename the previously renamed oldvdoservice.nfrun in vdoservice.nfrun.

Turn OFF and ON

Screen refreshing/flickering probably is a problem of port splitter when not closed and not active...

Click Exit in port splitter mask (and not only ok) if you not use the program.

Hovewer I've make a beta2 release with another split port program that seems to work very well...

Thank you for your quick response but even with the stop as you describe the image jumps lot May moins.J expect fe do with your next release.
