Aquí están las instrucciones para la instalación. Ovm archivos.

Es muy difícil de explicar en Inglés. La traducción será cruel para escuchar. Pick quizás un español o Inglés foro.

PI instrucciones de instalación con XP:

1 ª De navegación con un PC.
2 ª ActiveSync en la puesta en XP, con el sistema de navegación unirse.
3 ª Haga clic en Búsqueda
4 Mi disco flash abierto
5 MNAV carpetas
6 hay Cree una nueva carpeta y POI
en la estructura MNAV / POI / Poiwarner / PoiWarner.ovm
o bien: MNAV \ POI \ XYZ \ XYZ.OVM para otros POI
7 Cable USB abklemmen
8 De navegación de restablecer o interruptor On / Off en el lado
9 Para la navegación - Opciones de menú de navegación está ahora en la página 3, un nuevo menú disponible (punto de peligro).

1 ª De navegación con un PC.
2 ª en Vista en el trabajo, porque su sistema de navegación aparece como un dispositivo Windows Mobile en virtud de las unidades / los discos y, a continuación, haga doble clic en el archivo de la estructura de su Navis se abre.
3 ª Haga clic en Búsqueda
4 Mi disco flash abierto
5 MNAV carpetas
6 hay Cree una nueva carpeta y POI
en la estructura MNAV / PI / Poiwarner / PoiWarner.ovm

Guess the "spanish" automatic translation was as funny as your german translation.

In fact you can't install IE for any PNA. There is a version of word, Notepad etc. available, but not really usefull. Interesting addons are the Speedcams of Navigon which is the Poiwarner.ovm, and some sightseeing ovm data from the ADAC which is the automobile club in Germany.

I would suggest you give us your questions in english and we try to answer.

First at all, I bought my 7977 becker last month. The assistant told me that I could use this gps as a pda. And I believed him (what a silly girl...). The price was quite good 269 and maps from all europe, why not? The idea to convert it in a "small personal computer" seduced me. The other gps are more expensive. But now, The reality is not very stimulant. I'm getting sad because there is no information about this gps on the web. Nobody buys becker in spain or almost nobody. There are forums in spanish but it seems there are no information about becker. Except this forum but its in german. I only have knowledge about some words

My first problem is how to unlock the gps.
And first al all how to make a backup.

Well, first of all if your 7977 has a TMC Problem you should get it back to the vendor as it is a general bug.

269 is quite expensive in my point of view.

For example in Germany or even Internetshops you are able to purchase it much cheaper. At the moment there is a sell-off of the Becker 7928 which is a very good PNA.

The latest PNA-Navigationssystems are working with a Windows Mobile 5 LIGHT-Version, which usually allows you to Navigate and thats it.

You may listen to mp3 and watch some kind of video but the opportunities are very limited.

A PDA is a more or less full version of Windowa MObile and you can even run MS-Office Programs on it AND Navigation.

So unfortunately the vendor was telling nonsens.

In spite of that there is some sort of smaller software which works on a PNA - but the questions is how usefull is it really?

For the time being, Becker Navigation systems are not as popular as Medion, Navigon or TomTom e.x. but the Quality of Becker is very very good. But you know that Qualitiy can be very expensive and so Becker used to be very expensive compare to the others. But this seems to be changing now.

I can higly recommend the 7928 179-199 or the new Z201 which is about 239 .

As the installation is more or less fast and easy you don't really need a back up. I would back up single data, like the saved adresses. You can find them on the internal memory disk. The path is: My flash Disk\MNAV

The Becker System software is very restricted and does not really give you many and easy ways to install other Navigationsoftware. In compare to other Systems like Medion it is rather diffcult but not unpossible. You don't have to be a professional programmer to pimp the Becker but it makes lot of things easier if you are having at least some kind of knowledge about PNA.

Before you start anything I would really recommend to read the manual which is available in english and also spanish to learn how this works at all. Afterwards I would try to install some really important things like the Radarwarner of Navigon.
