Fehlermeldung auf Navi nach USB-Anschluss (Fatal Application Error)

    Same problem here.


    It looks like the problem only occurs to them who received their Navigon, with version 7.0.8 installed when shipped, and updated later from 7.0.8 --> 7.09.


    Can you guys confirm this?


    (sorry, I can read and understand German, but write it... ?( )

    Nein, das kann ich nicht bestätigen.
    Mein Navi kam mit 7.05, dann Update auf -->7.07-->7.09, seit dem letzten Update auf 7.09 habe auch ich das USB-Problem.

    I agree it is not that big a problem.


    But when I connect the navigon to USB at work, to charge it, it just give such a LOUD sound....


    Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update.

    Reaction from NAVIGON regarding USB Fatal Application Error:



    thank you for contacting Navigon. The problem as you describe most likely is caused that the device was not in the main menu (the menu where you can choose between navigation - pictures) as it was connected to your computer. Before you connect the device with your computer the device must be in this main menu otherwise you get this application error. If you get this message just disconnect the device and reset the device over the reset button at the bottom of the device make sure the main menu is in the screen and connect it with your computer.


    Looks like they do not see this as a system problem, but more as a user problem ?(


    I've tested it!
    First: main menue "navigation - pictures"
    then: connected to the pc
    result = USB Fatal Application Error appears :evil: :-D)

    Same here, this is no solution. Navigon must work on it!


    Das Problem habe ich auch aus dem Starbildschirm heraus, das ist also keine Lösung. Navigon muß sich darum kümmern!

    I was not able do test this yet.


    I will report back to Navigon support that this does not fix the application error.

    heute ist ein Update von Navigon Fresh auf Version 4.1 erschienen.
    Damit dürfte die Fehlermeldung nicht mehr erscheinen.

    Hi, Du meinst wahrscheinlich 1.4.1.
    Die gibt es schon länger und der Fehler ist noch vorhanden.

    Die Meldung hat nichts mit Navigon Fresh zu tun. ;)


    Sie beim Anschluss des Navi´s an USB.


    Edit: lustigen Tappfehler beseitigt.

    Aber gestern Abend stand sie noch nicht zur Verfügung.

    Stimmt der Fehler beseht weiterhin. Weiter sollte dieser auch mit Fresh nichts zu tun haben. Denn auch wenn Fresh nicht geöffnet ist, erscheint die besagte Meldung!
