MD96180 PNA465

    Hello,


    I have a big problem with my PNA.
    I got stuck in the service menu, the blue sreen. I did a format flash without my SD card. Now the PNA doesn`t work anymore.
    I already download
    FlashRom_PNA460_465_ohne_Kontaktleiste and kopied them to my SD card. Only the 2 files where on my sd card, but still it doen`t work.
    I got the error
    Checksum error.


    Please who nows what to do......

    use a small SD Card 128 MB, format the SD card in FAT not FAT32

    It didn`t work, but I format my 1 GB in 32FAT and that worked. Can you believe it.

    Hello all.
    I have similar problem with checksum error but on different device - route66 chicago. This is similar to medions, racs and other popular devices. Whatever I'll do: small or big cards, fat16, fat32, vfat - always one message - checksum error. I know there is a few ways to count checksum - from the whole file or minus last four bits, but both didn't work.
    Any ideas what's wrong?

    Are you sure that your PNA is flashable with the Medion-Images? If so, try to transfer the files one after each other (separately) to the SD.

    I would swear this is one common board with other specific models.

    OK, it's on your own risk! :)) If you are still faced with the 'checksum error', try smaller cards (<= 256MB), always formatted in FAT/FAT16.

    in Deinem Link war von einem Chicago 7000 die Rede, meine Google-Suche dazu brachte im Vorfeld den 9000er nach oben -> Link. Insofern ist die Hardware IMO zwar eine Andere, aber - ganz klar- daß es auch hier nicht klappen wird, ist eher wahrscheinlich.

    Das ist auch ein 9000 und erfolglos geflasht.
    Bis auf einen User, wie immer er das gemacht hat :smt009

    Ja, schau'n mer mal. Er hatte im Vorfeld ja eh schon angefangen, zu flashen.

    I don't care what can be happen if there will be wrong flash, let's say I'm doing this is for learning purposes ;)
    And this is curious - on one image (I do have a few ;)) when I try flash it, it says that checksum is correct, but unknown image. So I think there is some trick with checksum.

    No, I think you're running into a plausi check which can't get solved/overruled. Forget the Medion ones they won't fit on your PNA.
