Becker Cascade probleme: Navigation nicht verfügbar!

Hi all. I'm from Latvia, Riga. I bought Becker Cascade 7909 from Japanese Ferrari 612 and change Ferrari logo to Becker logo in Service menu. I bought V5.0 SW from eBay. Software works well, but i can't change Language to Eng (i look message: Bitte Navigations-Software einlegen, CF inserted) and when i push NAVI button i look message: Navigation nicht verfügbar. Please help me!

Hallo alle. Ich bin von Lettland, Riga. Ich kaufte Becker Cascade 7909 von japanischem Ferrari 612 und Änderung Firmenzeichen von Ferrari zum Firmenzeichen von Becker im Dienstmenü. Ich kaufte V5.0 KURZWELLIG von eBay. Softwarearbeiten so, aber kann ich nicht Sprache zu Eng ändern (ich schaue Nachricht: Bitte Navigationssoftware einlegen, VGL eingefügt), und wenn ich Knopf NAVI stoße, schaue ich Nachricht: Navigation nicht verfügbar. Helfen Sie mir bitte!

This is don't work... Device works well, but NAVI don't work and i can't change the language to EN.

Okay by this device it isn´t possible to activate a EU navigation software. It works only in japan with his own software!

Ok. System CD V5.0 Works well.
This is info about CF from Becker Diagnose menu:
CF inserted: Yes
ID: BECKER V5
ID valid: No
DB-file available: Yes

Do you have the original CF Card from the Japan Version?

mh you have a pre serial model EC 998 how did you come to the unit ?

I have original CF and System CD V5 from eBay. Harman/Becker said me: "CF for Japan is not available. BE7909 same as EU Cascade models, only radio tuner JP version and no logo on front panel"

It is not possibel to activate EU Navigation on this Device sorry......
It can´t read EU CF Cards....

This is bad news.. Why Becker said: Becker Cascade 7908 and Becker Cascade 7909 are same, but 7909 Japan radio tuner? And eBay sellers said me SW and CF are same. NAVI don't need me, me need change language to EN. Now language is Geman. Maybe you have idea?

As the previous post already said, the device is not official. EC995 is pre production and never for sell.
You can change the language by pressing the button in the top left corner, scroll to the left, Systemeinstellungen and then select language ("Sprache").
Problem is, that you will not have Navigation and you will not have radio reception or at least limited reception. In Germany for instance it would be highly illegal, since the japan frequency range is used by the authorities.
Basically you have a very expensive MP3 player.

Die Sprache kann man nicht umstellen, weil die Sprachdateien auf der CF Karte liegen und er ja keine CF Karte hat

The device is 998, not 995 It receive only 8 radio stations. My Nokia 8600 with this Cascade works great in Hands Free mode. NAVI function don't work and i can't change a language...
