Favorites lost

    Hi,


    I upgrade my 8450 Live to 8450PR, and have now lost all my Favorites.
    I have read that they should be in a file named "Favorites.store", but I acnt
    find that file on my system nor on any of my old backups ?


    The "ApplicationSettingsPathes.xml" on my old backups say that the Favorites
    shall be stored in directory "MN Settings".


    <Favorites>/MN Settings/Favorites.store</Favorites>


    Is this some kind of hidden directory, and how will I be able to restore the Favorites ?

    The folder MNSetting is in a protected area on your device. So simply does not get you there.
    If now the favorites are away, you must give them, unfortunately, over again.
    Now provides in the folder NAVIGON a folder Favorites and changes in the ApplicationSettingsPathes.xml following path as well as he below stands.


    <Favorites>./Favorites/Favorites.store</Favorites>
    <RecentTargets>./Favorites/RecentTargets.store</RecentTargets>


    Then make a Reset.
    Now your favorites are stored in the folder Favorites.

    Thanks for the answer.
    I thought so too. I restored the latest backup, and it was
    gone one the device after that as well.
    I am right now doing a new upgrade but is very slow, ~500 KB/s.


    Very bad backup program I must say, when one want be able to
    restore such an obvious thing as the Favorites, without first modyfing
    the installation.
