    Hallo Leute,

gibt es für Leute wie mich, die der englischen Sprache nicht mächtig ist, eine Übersetzung des Dialoges (komplett)

    Vielen Dank

Ich mache das mit dem Google Übersetzer, geht so einigermaßen.

  • I think there's a wrong line in your script: RenameVDO.mscr

    Rename( "\sdmmc disk\Navigation","\sdmmc disk\No-Navigation" )

Thereis no folder called Navigation in the root of the SD card, because you het to copy the whole Residentflash directory to the SD card.
This results in not able to use the original VDO application....

    Grtz

  • Hello Atmos , menu beta 2 beautiful but always with Igo8 the image that jumps

  • There's nothing of wrong, you must copy the VDO maps (Navigation folder in original SD) in the Sd your are using...

@ manduria: I use IGo8 and I've not any type of image jumps...

Maybe you have some program in background that cause this image problems or there's others problems with Igo8 version (or SYS.txt)

  • Atmos,
Do I thank you for using mats I started the whole installation process and now all is OK. Very beautiful .Il yet to find an SD card from 8 GB run on our PN6000 to add a max software

Thanx for your reply. I noticed it already. Btw I changed te GPS baudrate on my PN4000 into 38400 (in Virtcomm). It's really faster now.

    Grtz..

  • There's no a substantial gain increasing speed of gps port with not professional navigations software, but If you have not issue we could increase automatically in final version.

    @ all: some other Hacks:

    1) In \sdmmc disk\ResidentFlash\navigation (the copied folder) you can rename or delete watchdog.exe. This is only a "control" program. with this hack you can close spike.exe without a device reset...

    2) In \sdmmc \ResidentFlash\navigation\Img (alwais the copied folder) the image Initial_Screen_480x272.png is the VDO image that load then the initial hourglasses, you can change it with another image (with the same name and characteristic).
I've put a logo of my car... :gap

We could change also the initial hourglasses loaded but this image is in windows folder and i suggest to leave it...

I've experienced a serious improvement in getting a GPS fix, after I changed the Baudrate. Please check for your self.
You've done a great job. My compliments for that.
I can use Igo8,MN7 and VDO software without changing a SD card on my PN4000

    Perfect.....!!

  • With the new "original button" menu launch and with the new "CLOSy original software skin" I'm changing initial routine to have a "friendly use installation" , it's a hard work for test all and give a (as much as possible) stable release...

However I think it will be a nice Christmas gift. ;D

    Stay tuned.

P.s. in my beta 106498 release :gap I've modified original exe but this maybe will be a future Implementation

  • Hello atmos,

CONGRATULATIONS to your new release! Seems to be wonderful...Igo8 and original navigation runs at the same time :) The problem with the lost GPS Signal seems to be gone - great!!! Thanks a lot for your work!!!

But I have still some issues:
    - after cold start, the menu loading takes much more longer time, i also registered that there are several starts needed until the new menu appears (with brandnew original flashed PN6000)
    - the IGO8 problem with delayed auto-brightness setting in automatic mode is the same as before: in map view, it takes minutes until the auto-brightness is reacting. If a menu button in IGO8 is pressed (e.g. settings menu), the brightness control works normal within seconds. It seems that IGO8 runs in high priority mode while in map view, so the brightness updating does not work properly. Any ideas?
    - TMC is not tested yet :(

What i want to test in the next days: in the old version, your menu disappeared if an ingoing call from my mobile comes or if a VDO message comes (e.g. "battery charge required")- did you take that into consideration? In the last version, only a cold start could resolve this problem.

    Thanks,
    dreamy1

  • IGO8 Autosearch with default Protokolls not find a TMC Hardware with beta2.

    self input in sys.txt

    [tmc]
    port=COM,?
    baud=?

Do you have switch initial loading routine in "normal mode" with Registry button?

Obviously cold start of VDO software with the original "ResidentFlash" (not a copied one, and memory speed is also important in this case) will be certainly faster but also more risky.

However in the new release the firts installation will be heavy ( for easy installation even for not experts) but the "normal-mode" loading routine will be more slight.

I think that this is a problem that depends on IGO version and his setting in sys.txt

With next release you can re-launch my menu with a button in VDO original software...

    Thanks
