Hi,
endlich gibt es eine neue Version von GPSDash. Ich hoffe, das sich nun wieder mehr tut.
Hier das Change-Log von Version 1.4
ZitatAlles anzeigenNew: UTM-Support - GPSDash now features full support for the widespread Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinate system. You may now choose freely between one of the three supported notations of WGS84 coordinates and UTM. As most of the mapping material out there is based on the UTM projection, this should be a valuable addition.
New: Bigger Position-Marker - As the position-marker was quite small and sometimes hard to see, this is a first try to resolve this issues. This new outline-effect is optional and can be controllen over the "Marker Color" entry in the map-view context-menu.
New: Advanced File-Selector - This new selector removes some restrictions of the CE standard file-selector. You may now also select maps or logs from your SD-Card or other external storage-cards freely.
ATTENTION: Whereas this new method for selecting files offers more flexibility, it lacks some of the convenience of the old one. To find your files with the advanced file-selector, you must know where they reside (e.g. The worldmap is stored in \My Documents\GPSDash\). Anyways, you may choose freely betweeen the old CE standard and the new advanced file-selector over the "Tools"-menu.
New: Support of Geoid Separation - As some of the better GPS-Receivers (e.g. Emtac CruxII) are capable of reporting an approximation of the difference between the altitude in the geoid model and the real world, it was time to use this information in GPSDash. If you own such a device, this new version of GPSDash should report the correct altitude for your position without the need to enter an correction offset manually.
Bug Fix: Connect Issue with Bluetooth Receivers - As I got some complaints about GPSDash not working with various Bluetooth receivers in conjunction with most of the new WM2003 based PocketPCs, I had to spent several days to sort out this problem. My detailed testing revealed, that the problem is not the code of GPSDash, but a(nother) nasty bug in the implementation of the virtual COM-port of the new Bluetooth Manager (WM2003, PPC2002 iPAQ5450 ROMv1.19). However, I managed to find a workaround and GPSDash should work with all receivers that are reachable over a serial connection again.
Bug Fix: Marker Color - The color of the position marker was not persistent. This issue should be solved now.
Various smaller bugfixes...
