medion 470 vs JVC PX70

    But I m french and it 's hard for me to understand all the german words.
    So sorry for the "englich speaking".
    I read many things on the JVC vs 470T (on geo24) but I would like to know more and be sure on differences:


    - more memory for the JVC ?
    - same software (gopal v2 PE)?
    - same hardware (except memory (256 vs 512))


    I'm ok on it?


    Whats about updates for JVC?


    In France prices are :
    - 369E on JVC ( all europe)
    - 400E for medion 470 (with map France and big roads in Europe.... with gopal 2.0 AE)


    I read some bad things on the JVC on a Dutch forum (software problems) ... and there s feed back on it in France.


    What s about differences...
    Witch on is the best value...


    Would you help me on that choice.

    400E is quit too much for an 470 with 2.0 AE. It has to be an 2.3PE Version.


    I can not say anythink about the JVC instead of it's even the same. Which Version of GoPal is on it? 2.0AE or 2.3AE?


    I would choose the JVC or wait until may/june when Aldi Germany will launch an 470 with GoPal 3.0.

    "Medion France" have a strange poltic : I know that it s cheaper in germany/belgium/switzerland ... for a better product.


    And I can t buy it on an other webshop than french medion shop because if I try on medion shop belgium, it says that I can t buy it because I m not from the country... "try the medion shop from your country..."


    For JVC, I 've tried to know more on the software but no answers from JVC or medion (gopal).


    I need my gps in july... I will wait ... hope on v3.0... but medion.fr is always in delay for new products.


    Now you can inderstand why i m look for JVC... may be gopal PE... but v2.0. But is it the same product than 470T... not sure.

    In which Region of France do you live? Isn't it possible to buy in Germany? Another oppotunity ist to try ebay Germany. You can buy an Bundle of Medion 465 with 2.3 AE of the last Aldi north offer. It gets sold for about 300.

    I m living in Tours (center of France)... far from germany :/
    I m looking fot 470PE (BT) ... and there s nothing like this on ebay.
    I will contact a friend ... he was in Germany the 3 last years... may be he s got some good friends... but now he s in Japan...
    It will not be easy but it s the only way to get 470T PE under 450E...

    Well, I would also choose the MEDION 470 PE. It is quite similiar to the MEDION device.


    But you should wait another few weeks. The new GoPal 3 PE is not very far away.


    I think there is a good chance to get PE Bundle with the 470 device pretty soon.....
