Destinator 6 Skin VGA Project

    I work for to make a VGA Skin for Destinator 6.

    I need help:
    1) I don't achieve (get) to make the pop-up enlarge in main screen.

    2) The street names are small (I need enlarge the streets names of main screen).

    Very good work! It's sad to see that the community does what Destinator should have done since PN:


    Make Destinator 6 fully VGA-compatible.


    I think therefore you might run into problems in the following areas:


    - The zoom of the main map can't be adjusted to go "below" 50 m scale in 2D - which means that overall in close quarters navigation the map is too small to see details very well probably. I stopped using VGA because of this problem.


    - Street names should be enlargeable if they are somehow encoded into the .ini file. Check the file for a street name display variable to see if the font size can be soft-adjusted. I'm not sure and don't have my ini readyhere at work.

    You can read and write ini archives (files) with Notepad:


    You must save how "All files" and write ".ini" in end of name of archive.

    Copy the file "Destinator.exe.0409" (if you owner of english version) for Destinator paste, and the paste "Otimizado" to ...\Destinator\Skin


    There are 3 limitations:
    The pop-up window is very small.
    The window of sattelites configurations don't show accordingly.
    The streets names is very small.

    first, its a great idea to do this! But I tried it on my Acer n311 and did not manage it. May you give a more detailed advice how to handle the Destinator.exe.0409.mui?

    Copy Destinator.exe.0409.mui for paste where you install the Destinator.

    Thank you, but this was what Ive done without success. When I switch to Otimizado, there will be several messages as Resource error, Unknown Standard Bitmap code is found. After this, the elements are blown up instead of becoming smaller and sharper. Might it be a problem with the new Desti 6.1xx TrafficSam?

    bei meinem HX4700 kommt keine Fehlermeldung bei der Nutzung des SKINs. Allerdings schaltet Destinator auch nicht in den VGA-Modus um....
    Alle Icons werden im Normalmodus bei VGA-Auflösung angezeigt....


    Was hab ich falsch gemacht ?

    Destinator.exe.407.mui verwenden => einfach nur umbenennen....
    Dann funktioniert es mit.... : drink : drink
