First. I am sorry to post in English but I am hoping someone can help me with this problem.
I am new to Gps and this group.I have just bought at auction an Ipaq
3870,Navman 3400 sleeve,ST Professional ver 1.91 software and Xaiox
bluetooth gps receiver.
I am having trouble trying to get the Navman software and the
bluetooth gps receiver to work together.
I sent an e-mail to Xaiox and got the following back from Xaiox.
"Dear Tony,
When you use the GPS receiver first time please insert battery and put
under open sky for at least one hour to allow the unit to find the
actual position. It has found the position when the red LED is
flashing every second.
Then connect to your PDA. The Navman software will then find the GPS
data immediately.

I tried the advice from Xaiox to set up the Gps receiver.
There are 3 files on the xaiox disk which I sent to the Ipaq 3870.When
I click on BtGpsCe and select Com port 8; I get a lot on information
showing satellites information etc. The Bluetooth manager says the Gps
receiver is connected on serial port but the Navman Gps Status Screen
says waiting for GPS. Pulling my hair out.
Any ideas ?
