Hardreset

    Hallo,
    I am from holland and i'am not so good in german.
    I have a secondhand mdpna the previus owner has put the pda funtion on the mdpna.
    Is it save to hardreset ? so i can get the mdpna back to the original.
    Or will i get some trubbles doing so??
    I there a forum reader with experiance??

    Hello Pieter,


    there is no problem to be expected normally, if you do a hardreset on you MDPNA 150.
    After a hardreset the appliance will be at the same status when leaving the factory, that means you will have to reinstall the navigation software as prescribed in the manual.
    The software should be on the MMC memory card delivered with the appliance and in addition
    there should be all required data on the CD´s .
    So I would recommend to check if all required data is available on the memory card or at least on the CD´s, so that you can restore the data on the memory card.

    als hij alle cds en Handboeken leverde, kunt u het hard-Terugstellen verwezenlijken daardoor komt u opnieuw op orignallevering was gerechtigd. ;)

    If i understand the answer correct than is a hard reset with the original sd card enough to get the original setting on the mdpna.

    yeah..u right.


    u will get it back to original settings, But............ the PDAs functions( like desktop, contacts, calender) from previus owner will also gone. u have to set them again,
    and its not easy if u cant understand German, couse all instruction to get a desktop on PNA are in German in this Forum.
