According to the expectations TOMTOM will introduce the carkit for the GO in December. Of it we have been possible retrieve the recommended retail price meanwhile already.
The carkit are in fact at this moment the last large missing link in the product line around the TOMTOMGO. It is also the last step of the GO really an adult make navigation system.
For quite some time TOMTOM for the introduction of this kit hold to an introduction before the end of the year. And that which near starts supply date come now nevertheless real, becomes clear, however, from the fact that the recommended retail price has been meanwhile determined. From very reliable source we have learned that these will come lie for the complete carkit on 249, - including VAT. It is expect that the streetprice still something will lie below.
The kit will provide to be with central connectionbox, a mount for assembly on the dashboard, an external antenna and a new holder with the necessary connectors where the GO is clicked on. See for the different components also the illustration find at the bottom of this bulletin.
After installation - exclusively by a professional installation company - the GO have been connected directly on the flow supplies and the audio system of the car. Because of this the system manages automatically with starting and turning off the car and and can mute the soundsystem as Eva ,or one of the others have to tell us something.
The exact date of introduction has been confessed at this moment not yet, but it must run strangely it the carkit not available is as possible gift for Santa.

Der Installationssatz stellt zur Verfügung, um mit zentralem connectionbox, einer Einfassung für Versammlung auf dem Armaturenbrett, einer Außenantenne und einem neuen Halter mit den notwendigen Steckern zu sein, in denen GEHEN an geklickt wird. Sehen Sie für die unterschiedlichen Bestandteile auch die Abbildung Entdeckung an der Unterseite dieser Nachricht.
Nachdem Installation - ausschließlich durch eine professionelle Installation Firma - GEHEN direkt auf den Fluss-Versorgungsmaterialien und dem Audiosystem des Autos angeschlossen worden sind. Wegen dieses handhat das System automatisch mit dem Beginnen und dem Drehen weg vom Auto und und kann das soundsystem daempfen, während Eva,or eins von den anderen uns etwas erklären müssen.
Das genaue Datum der Einleitung ist an diesem Moment nicht schon bekannt worden, aber es muß es merkwürdig laufen lassen, welches das vorhandene carkit nicht als mögliches Geschenk für Sankt ist.[/bt]

Ich glaub ich bin besoffen..... 
Iss ja mal gut das der GO nicht genauso navigiert wie BabelFish übersetzt ....
Hat jemand schon gehört, wann das CarKit in Deutschland verfügbar sein wird, und für welche Fahrzeuge? Ich nehme ja mal an, dass die Anschlüsse zwischen den einzelnen Automodellen und -marken doch unterschiedlich sind.

Habe zwar keine Ahnung ab wann das Ding verfügbar sein wird, aber eins weiss ich ganz sicher: das ganze hat mit der Automarke nichts zu tun. Die Steckverbindungen sind für Radio Stummschaltung und Anschluss an die Radiolautsprecher, Strommversorgung sowie ev. Radioantenne was bedeuten könnte dass es eine TMC taugliche Variante geben könnte. Radio Stecker sind standardisiert, also kein Problem.

Die Stecker teilweise schon aber nicht die Belgung der Stecker. Deswegen wird man in jedem Fall wieder entsprechende Adapter brauchen...

Eigentlich schon, die belegung ist normalerweise genormt und wird von allen großen Anbietern auch eingehalten . Ausnahme sind sicher einige Exoten.
Im Normalfall ist die Stummschaltung immer ein blaues Kabel
