Help: Speed limit signs have disappered

    I have a 8450PR which I have had for more than 1 year.
    Suddenly I have noticed that the current speed limit sign in the
    upper left corner of the map have disappered.


    If I remember right, this was something one could choose to see
    or not in the settings menu, but I can't find that either any more.


    Can someone help ?

    I belive I solved the problem myself.
    Doing a diff (WinMerge) between the files on the unit and my latest backup, I
    found that the "device.xml" only had 1 line in it, against 32 lines in my backup.


    I copyed the device.xml from my backup and restarted. Now the signs are shown :thumbup:
    (at least in simulation mode).


    However, after the reboot the device.xml had lost 8 lines again, and 1 looks very
    strange. It only contains "<C1P" nothing more.


    What does all thoose lines stand for ?

    hi,


    sorry, had to delete those lines cos they include the keys for TMCPro and LIVE. As the use of these keys cold activate those paid features on other devices, we have to delete them.
