I hope someone can be kind enought to explain: I am very interested in Naviflash, because they are European and they use Linux. Why does the 1120 cost less than the 1021i, when it appears to offer more, e.g. complete European maps?

I'm sorry I can't help you with any functional details or features of the 1120 or 1121i devices because I'm using a 1020i. I suggest you go straight ahead to the English manufacturer's site.
Naviflash 1120 is cheaper because it is produced in China.
Danke, goergo - I was afraid that that would be the reason.
Reini: yes, I looked at the Naviflash site many times! But it does not make it easy to compare the models with each other (while Navigon is very good to show the different features).

Yes, absolutely! It's not doing any magic or miracles, but the operating system is extraordinary stable, the routing is (at least to my experiemce) quite reliable, the 3D-mode one of the best I ever saw and the remote control for the steering wheel.....I just love it! ;D
