I beg u Please help me with a Dump of the nav-u directory (without MAPS) on the NV-U92T

    Sorry for not speaking German but with Google translation I can follow most here pretty good.
    As this seems to be the only forum where ppl talk about the NV-U92T I beg for help ;)


    I did something stupid, I upgraded some firmware file of a different sony nav-model and as far as I could see thru the explorer it only wrote in the nav-u map, which is the map under /sony.


    I beg, Can someone pretty please send me a compressed zip/rar of that directory to me, as it is only 7,5 mb in compressed format.


    And you can do so please rename the zip to .pdf so it goes thru scanners and stuff.


    I would be very happy and it isn't even my own device ;(

    Nobody is actually able to extract U92T s firmware files, and map files do exceed size, anybody is able to mail, even compressed. (and it is illegal too)


    Anyways, Hardreset Reset should do, concerning restore of U92T s CE . And map files can be restored with DVD content.


    Btw., there are no updates/upgrades available for this Sony piece of XXXX, since Sony just wants to sell new gear.

    Thx for responding, I don't need the mapfiles the maps are in 2 big file outside the nav-u map and they still excist.
    I can only see that the nav-u map is overwritten with newer wrong data and really compressed that's only 7,5 Mb or so.


    Anyways, what's the story on the DVD (which I don't have only 1 crom)
    Do I get that DVD at Sony's.
