I think it is very likely the 0501 refers to 5v at 1 amp (1000 ma) and the differences in these charger final number is may well be the important pinout wiring.
In any case the exercise doesn't do me much good since none of the models that use the Atech are sold in the US, or at least no oem accessories are sold. Getting chargers off of ebay is always a huge risk since most sellers simply sell any 5v mini b as compatible with all models. they know buyers are not going to ship back a $5 charger for $5.
I have a female mini b receptavle on order so in a couple of weeks I can safely check the pins of the phihong and L&K while powered.
