MN6.5 ohne Hardware bei Navigon zu kaufen!

    Die 6.5 läuft auf dem T7000. Man muss aber einige Einstellungen ändern. Und eine Datei von der 6.1 in der 6.5 ersetzen. Allerdings geht die Sprachstuerung beim T7000 nicht, aber das ist ja klar.


    ... paßt aber zusammen mit der 6.5 auf eine 2GB-Karte drauf. Dann ist immer noch Platz um die Karten-Skin-Dateien draufzuspielen. Auch das geht.

    die Datei Europe_NT200708.map ist kleiner als die Europe_MN62/MN60.map, .


    Vermutlich ist die neue map anders gepackt, aber genaueres weiss sicherlich nur Navigon.

    Also kann man m.E. jetzt wirklich "guten Gewissens" die Nutzung des Navigon-Update-Angebots
    für ein Cross-Update (jedenfalls innerhalb geeigneter Transonic-Navigon-Hardware) empfehlen!

    There is a lot of variety on ebay. they are as low as 40 Euros for 6.x European maps. Is there any possibility of locking "bricking" the device by installing a prior 6.x map? I have of course fully backed up the original software. But is their a possibility of harming firmware?

    von dehlya. Thank you. I know the card will work. But for you the difference is only 30% more. For users in the US (and Canada) the amount is double for the card. 99 Euros download vs 195 Euros sd card shipped! There are no cards in the US.


    Navigon has advertised that adding maps is cheaper than other brands. At almost $300 they are in effect the most expensive. The difference between Nuvi x60 vs. x70 versions (US only vs US+Europe) is not nearly that much.


    The an international product. They really should offer download of the proper working map which allows use of a software feature (Reality View) for which I have already paid and hold a legitimate software license for 6.5.

    Habe heute einmal die Europakarte Release 2007/08 für Mobile Navigator 6 PNA für den 7100 bei Navigon in den Warenkorb gelegt und gelesen, dass die Lieferung erst in 2 - 3 Wochen erfolgt.


    Also ich gehe davon aus, dass es in kürze neue Karten oder neue Softwareversionen geben wird. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass Navigon die SD-Karten ausgegangen sind.


    Die Version für den 7000er ist übrigens in 1-3 Tagen geliefert.
