I m would like to bye a 465 or 470 but I would like to know if it will be possible to upgrate the gopal v2 to v3PE with only 256 Mo intern memory.
All medion with gopal 3 PE are with 512 Mo (or some 1Go for Aldi France)
So If someone tried to push 470 or 465 with only 256 on a gopal PE... tell me if it s possible or (and) if it gives some problems.

256 MB Versions do work fine with PE 3.0.
No doubt, Medion is delivering most PE 3.0 470/4410 with the smaller ram.
Even 64MB models do run with PE 3.0.
Btw., you will have to run maps off SD-CARD.
Plz give us a link for a french Aldi 465/470 with 1GB Flash, haven´t seen one yet.

All gopal 3PE could be on less than 256 Mo?
How many Mo are free on 256Mo? (I need noni gpsplot)
Well, plain installation does need about 80 mos on 470, and you can save on features, like different languages and stuff. e.g. If 3PE installs at 64 MB hardware like on old Medion 500T, it leaves out some features, but s got fully functional navigation including TMC-PRO.
Anyways, we do know this hardware (not that old, has got CE 5 and a fast cpu), only reason for the big internal is, medion is saving on SD Card.
Maps are installed internally.
But what we don´t know is radarwarner being part of GOPAL, I´m sure interested which warner they do use. So french software does differ somehow, at least concerning this feature.

Add: I just studied the manual of this GOPAL, they do include POI WARNER we have to pay for in german Medion Versions, lucky french

In the french package... it s a "poi warner light"... you can t edit POI.
So... you have to bye it if you want to...
