Because TV interlock on old COMAND's is handled by the CAN communication between COMAND and TV-tuner this is no issue when you use the Dietz adapter.
The adapter removes no interlock but is a simple FBAS to RGB converter, feeding the video input signal into the COMAND.
It is working also when the car is in motion, but as I stated before, the interlock is not removed. For example if you upgrade to the genuine tuner, that unit is also providing two standard audio/video inputs, the interlock is active again until the unit really will be unlocked by an ODB interlock remove tool.
