Becker TA Highspeed 7934 - Map of Slovenia ?

    I Have Navigation Device which is mentioned above. I have 1GB SD Card with Europe on it. There are almost all contries drawn about 80% but Slovenia is drawn about 20% and I need the whole map of Slovenia.
    Becker is using Navteq like Garmin only Garmin has WHOLE Slovenia on it!I don't understand that!!?? I ask Becker Co. when is update coming (they sayed Spring 2007).I can't wait untill then!!!That is to farrrrr.........


    What I want to ask is: Can I put on the Navigation some other software or some other map of Slovenia?? I tryed Garmin's MapSource but is not working.....


    I have map on my navigation which is called Europe D.map.


    Please help me somehowe.... If u can.

    the coverage of the slovenia map isn`t very detailed, becaus of the coverage age of IV/2005. Why is the coverage of garmin (also navteq) better? Whats the age of the garmin coverage?


    I heard that the navigon MN 6 Software shall run on the 7934, but the navigon maps have the same age and coverage like the becker maps (IV/2005).


    So you must wait till an expensive ( about 199,-) mapupdate is coming....
    and the update perhaps will have an 50% drawn of slovenia (?()

    hm... and that really sucks!:) I still can't belive there is no other way !? I just installed Pimp My Becker, great stuff.... i bet some hacker can transform garmin map that goes in becker navigation :D ... That is really stupid! I bought Becker and I don't have full Slovenia in it... Becker Rules and on the other side SUCKS:( ...

    Why have you bought this device at all?
    Haven't you informed yourselves on beforehand on its capabilities and its suitability for your purposes prior to deciding to buy it?

    They told me that the map is going to be updated every 15days... and I really didn't know how gps works and nothing... I tought u can put any map you want.... bla bla bla...
    I fu*ked myself up.... that's it.

    My uncle lives in Germany and he called some store I don't know (maybe media markt) ...and they told him.... They told there is like 20% of Slovenia and that is updated every 15 days.... I don't know....
    Now what I'm gonna do? I bought becker and I don't have Slovenia what do you suggest???

    Whatever you do, there is no update available with more Mapdata of Slovania untill Becker comes with the next release X(
    So, you will have to tell your uncle that "he has been told stories"
    And you will have to blame yourselves that you have not further checked it and have no documentation which confirms this statement


    Where have you bought the unit, do you have a possibility to give it back and get the money paid back?
    Otherwise you will have to accept your loss and try to sell your Becker to someone who will have more pleasure with it.

    As far as I know, in Germany you have the right to return goods bought via the Internet within 14 days and have the money reimbursed.
    But you should check this in further detail and contact the supplier, as I, being Dutch, am not familiar with all details of the German Law.
