Tomtom und KSE Truefax

    Ich kann nicht gut deutsch, bitte sei nett :)
    Ich habe ein pocket pc dell axim x51v mit windows mobile 5.
    In meinem pocketpc ich habe tomtom navigator 5 und es geht ok. Ich habe auch ein programm das macht fax (KSE Truefax 2004 for WinCE).
    Ich habe gelesen das wenn mann tomtom im pocketpc hat, KSE truefax funzioniert nicht. Mann muss ein registry editor benutzen um BTCEIF.DLL zu BTCeIf.dll wiedershreiben. Die probleme ist das ich kein BTCEIF.DLL im pocket pc habe.
    Hier ist :
    If the software TomTom Navigator is installed on your device, Truefax will not run with the GPRS-Update 2.08 of the TomTom Software because it cannot connect to the Bluetooth ComPort 8. The ComPort is blocked by TomTom Navigator
    But a small workaround exists, which might do the trick. In order to let TomTom Navigator and Truefax run parallel, you should at first download the registry editor at www.phm.lu.
    Inside the registry please call on the Key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Serial008 and search for the entry "Dll".
    TomTom GPS inscribes "---BTCEIF.DLL" in this key. You need to change this value to "BTCeIf.dll" and make a soft reset.
    Please note: Pay attention to capitalization and small letters.

    hier ( Klick ) ist der Original-Thread mit der Lösung. Die bezieht sich allerdings auf TTN 2 unter PPC 2002 oder WM2003.


    Hab auch mal meinen X51v durchsucht, aber ebenfalls keine BTCEIF.dll gefunden, fürchte daher, der Trick klappt nicht mehr unter WM 5.0.


    Hast Du denn probiert, ob es ohne diesen Trick geht, bzw. läuft KSE überhaupt unter WM 5.0 ?


    Ansonsten kann ich noch anbieten, auf das ROM-Update von Dell für den X51v zu warten, dieses soll in den nächsten Tagen kommen.

    vielen dank fur antworten.
    Vielleich die trick ist nur fur tt3 und geht nicht fur tt5. Ich werde KSE und tt leute fragen.
    Ich hatte keine ahnung es wird eine neue ROM sein. Ich dachte rom 06 war die letzte.
    Mein deutsch ist sehr schlecht aber es ist meine dritte sprache, sei nett mit mir :)

    das mit dem ROM bezog sich auf die deutsche WM 5.0 Version, sorry, ich hab nicht drüber nachgedacht, daß Du englisches WM 5.0 hast. Da weiß ich nicht, ob es ein Update gibt.
