second part--adjust rgb interface.please help me--second part

    hello to everybody
    this post is the second part of the other post that i have put some days ago
    well, i must say that the RGB interface does not have possibility of color adjustment, brightness or contrasts so i have decided to buy a diezt multimedia interface 1240/E that i have fixed but here it is the problem..
    when i was using the rgb interface i can not see the video and i can hear the audio and in the dash display (computer) shows " ch tv " but the screen of the comand was in black.
    now i am using the diezt interface multimedia but i can not see the video i can hear the audio but in the display of the dash and in the screen of the comand show " no tv! " and the screen of the comand do not put in black it stays switch on with "no Tv!"
    i think that the the wires are correctly fixed and the navigation work correctly
    can anybody help me?
    what i have to do it?
    in the connection manual of the diezt says that if the screen of the comand shows no tv! i must go to the mercedes benz dealers. is it correct?.

    Was soll ich tun?


    In der BDA vom DIETZ steht, wenn das COMAND "no tv!" anzeigt, muß man zu MB. Stimmt das?

    Es kommt in einigen seltenen Fällen schon vor, das die Codierung vom TV im Comand verändert werden muß, das geht aber nur in der MB-Werkstatt. So steht es ja auch in der Beschreibung bei dem Dietz-Adapter mit dabei. Wichtig ist eben, das der Adapter Kl.15 und Kl.31 hat und wenn dann noch die Codierung im Comand richtig ist, dann läuft es auch ;)

    First of all thanks for your answer, but, i do not understand why holgy says that i have to fix the interface with kl 15 (ground) and kl 31 (switched power). i think that both knows the diezt interface and that it comes with the c1 and c2 plug with all the wires the only thing that i have to do is it to fix them in the comand..


    For another hand, i do not understand this part "the COMAND is additionally correct coded it will work " you want to say that i must go with the car to the mercedes-benz dealer and activate the tv fuction, or, i have to change any other thing like a code for example and if i have to do it what kind of code i have to change.


    uff it is very long but i think that with your help i will see the video in my comand.

    ok, i have seen where i have made the mistake.. i have not connected the pin 1 and 3 of the multimedia interface, like the connection manual says in third step and we can see in the page number three.

    Kl. 31 = Masse = Ground !!!!!


    Kl. 15 = Zündung = switched power

    Uhhps, das mit den Klemmenbezeichnungen werde ich wohl nie mehr lernen, das habe ich schon immer verwechselt, komme mit "Masse", "12V" e.t.c. besser zurecht.... :rolleyes:
