rgb adapter in comand 2.0 dx for mercedes-benz

Some time ago (four months I bought a rgb interface in ######### shop (the old model with scart adapter)) to fix a dvd player to my comand system 2.0 dx (mb w203) without a tv tuner.

I must say to you that the red wired that takes the adapter i have fixed to the +12v of the lighter.

I have fixed c1 stecker and c2 stecker (with the wires of the "i CAN low and high" number 8 and 9 "i CAN" is correct)
the radio works fine and the navigation system too.

One more thing when i put the ignition key of the car in position 1 only works the comand but not the dvd player (the dvd player fed from the lighter) and when i select the tv button in the screen in the screen it appears the following message "no tv !". when i pass the ignition key in position 2 the screen puts black.

Well after to do it i have to tell to you that when i select the tv button only can listen the sound the screen still black with the car stopped and the brakehand put.

So if you are so pleased can you tell me if i have made a mistake fixing the rgb, o maybe be possible that the rgb is in bad condition or i must to activate the tv button in the mercedes factory o i have to do another thing else to fix it correctly.

i expect your notice because i do not know what i have to do it

Einiger Zeit (vier Monate kaufte ich eine rgb-Schnittstelle im ########geschäft (das alte Modell mit scartadapter)), einen dvdspieler an meinem dx des comandsystems vor 2,0 (mb w203) ohne einen Fernsehapparattuner zu befestigen. Ich muß zu Ihnen sagen, daß das Rot verdrahtete, das den Adapter nimmt, den, ich am +12v des Feuerzeugs befestigt habe. Ich habe stecker stecker c1 und c2 (mit den Leitungen von "ich DOSEN-Tief und -höhe" numeriere 8 und 9 "ich DOSE" bin korrekt), die Radioarbeiten fein und die Navigationsanlage auch geregelt. Eine weitere Sache, wenn ich den Zündschlüßel des Autos in Position 1 einsetze, bearbeitet nur das comand aber nicht den dvdspieler (den dvdspieler eingezogen vom Feuerzeug) und wenn ich die Fernsehapparattaste auf dem Schirm auf dem Schirm vorwähle, sieht es die folgende Anzeige "kein Fernsehapparat!" aus. wenn ich den Zündschlüßel in Position 2 führe, setzt der Schirm Schwarzes. Gut nachher, ihn zu tun, den ich erklären muß Ihnen daß, wenn ich vorwähle die Fernsehapparattaste, nur hören kann der Ton der Schirm noch mit dem gestoppten Auto schwärzen und das brakehand setzte sich. RGB-Interface, hat der DVD-Player überhaupt ein RGB-Signal oder hat er FBAS ?????? Ist der Comand für TV programmiert????

i will try to be more explicit....

dvd has two exits audio (two channels) and video. ok
the RGB interface is the old model that sold the store of ######. (with two euroconnectors) and has the c1 plug and c2 plug.....ok

i have fixed the c1 and c2 plug in the comand
the dvd I have fixed it to the RGB through an adapter like it used in the playstation one (euroconnector with three inputs two of audio and one of video.
when i switch on the dvd i can only listen the audio but i do not see the video (the screen is in black).
so that the questions are the following ones....

is the rgb adapter in bad condition?.... or

do i need to program the tv button of the comand in the mercedes benz factory?..

Ich kenne den Adapter nicht und weiß auch nicht, ob er so einfach mit einem DVD-Player über einen Scart-Adapter geht.

Wenn ein schwarzer Bildschirm kommt, sollte der Comand eigentlich freigeschaltet sein, sonst wäre der Bildschirm blau mit Text.

To improve understanding between Spain and Germany I think I translate answer of Holgi:

I don't know this adaptor and don't know too if it's work with a DVD-player via Scart-adaptor.

If your screen is black the COMAND should be already released for TV, if not you would have a blue screen with text on it.

hey Wenni, habe in Dir hier sogar einen Übersetzer, Super Danke!!

Ich würde mal sagen, das der RGB-Adapter nicht richtig angeschlossen ist, 1. Stellung ist 15R und 2.Stellung ist 15.

Wenn er jetzt auf 15 angeklemmt ist, geht er natürlich erst ab der 2. Schlüsselstellung.

Wenn im Display "Kein TV" steht ist das eigentlich ein Zeichen dafür, das der Kasten keinen Strom hat.

P.S. In diesem Forum wird die jedenfalls versucht zu helfen, in dem A..........-Forum wartest Du ja schon tagelang auf eine Antwort

I would say the RGB-adoptor isn't connected well, Ignition 1 = 15R and 2 = 15.

When it's connected now at 15 it's normal that it works only at position 2.

When the display shows "no TV" it's an indication that the box (I think Holgi means the RGB-adaptor) gets no power.

ok the rgb interface is connected to the lighter source so until i do not pass the key to the position 2 the rgb has not tension.. it is a problem...

please what means 15 R and 15 i do not understand it..

if you are so kind please could you pass this question to holgy

so if i can not see the video maybe be possible that i have to activate the tv button...because you are telling to me tha the adapter is in good conditions..

15 = Stellung 2 vom Zündschlüssel = alle Verbraucher die an 15 dran sind, haben Strom

15R = Stellung 1 vom Zünschlüssel = 15Radio = Nur die Verbraucher die an dieser Leitung dran sind haben Strom, wie z.B. Radio/Airbag/...................

15 = Ignition position 2 = All loads which are connected at 15 get Voltage

15R = Ignition position 1 = 15Radio = Only loads like Radio/Airbag/.... get Voltage.

I think you have to look for another source than lighter, a source with 12V at Ignition position 1. (This is not translated from Holgi, it's from me... ;))
