Becker Indianapolis

    Hi,

    The new Becker Indianapolis is able to play MP3. Does anybody know if the 2660 CD-Changer will be compatible with this nav, (with MP3 playing !)

    Hi
    I´m pretty sure it is compatible. But MP3 CDs wont be playable if they are in the 2660.

    @EMPIRE

    That´s exactly what Becker told me by phone.

    1. Indianapolis will be able to play MP3

    2. Indianapolis will be able to control a 2660 cd changer and play music-cds which are in the changer

    3. Indianapolis will _not_ be able to play mp3-cds from the 2660. This is because the 2660 can extract audio-data only. the audio data is transferred to the Navigation system by an analog cable (the one with the cinch adaptors)
