Problems with Kingston 1 GB card

    I have bought a Kingston 1 GB sd card at the Media Markt.
    It is working, but
    When I switch of the mdpna with the destinator software running, and later switch it on an error message appears: Memory card is removed, program is stopped. Restarting the destinator software makes everything o.k.
    I think the card is too slow with starting-up, so the software thinks it is removed. As a workaround I can end the destinator software before power-down, and restart it after power-up, but this takes more time. Has anyone a solution for this ? Thanks.

    it seems to be that nobody has a standardized solution to solve that kind of problem. Many users already posted the same issue with different cards.

    Besides this explanation you can try to format your card with different card readers (FAT 16) or a digi cam or audio/video equipment something like that. If all these tests have not been successful, you should try another type of card (i.e. by another supplier).

    I returned the card to the shop, bought a Dana Elec 1 GB card and that's working fine now.
