Hi,
I'm very sorry to use this forum for a subject that isn't totally in topic here, but I need an urgent information about Mercedes car stereos and I and thought that maybe some experienced user here could help me out... Here's my problem. I just bought a Silverstone 2662 CD charger cause I wanted to install it in my car, a 2002 Mercedes CDI 220. After doing a lot of search on internet I found out that the suitable CD charger model for my Audio 10 car stereo was a Becker Silverstone 2662, or at least I thought so untill I tried to install it... When I went to install the CD charger I sadly discovered that my car radio is NOT compatible with it
Apparently Mercedes produced many different Audio 10 models and this one requires a different charger dedicated to Mercedes car stereo. Does anybody here know which exact model of CD changer I would need for my car? All I know is that the instruction manual of the radio says that the model number of the CD changer is: P 82.60-2182-00 while the model number of my radio is P 82.60-2200-00.
Also, do you know any good online store in Germany where I could find such accessories like a Mercedes CD changer? In Italy, where I live, they asked me 750 Eur for it but I don't want to give my money to such thieves ![]()
Thanks in advance for your help.

Moin,Moin,
Du brauchst einen MC 3010 für einen W203
siehe hier : http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14263&item=2497023728&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Thank you for your reply Holgi,
what is exactly a W203 (sorry for the newbie question) and why the part numbers in my instruction manual don't match those reported in that Ebay bid description? I also did further research on Ebay and never found any part number matching the "P 82.60-2182-00" reported in my manual... Is it a different code system? Thanks again!Nomax

W203 is the MB-internal code for actual C-Class. I have never heard about "P 82.60-2182-00", trust in Holgi, changer MC3010 (MB part-No. A203 820 90 89) is o.k. for your Audio 10.

Thanks Wenni. Of course I trust Holgi, I just wanted to make sure before buying the CD changer this time cause I already have a useless Silverstone 2662 on my desk
Anyways here's a picture of the front panel of my radio, so that you can check it out and confirm that it's the right model for a MC3010 charger:

Moin,Moin,

Thank you so much Holgi! :))

to Holgi or anybody else who can reply.
If I buy a MC3010 on Ebay, can I install it myself or do I need to take the car and CD changer to a Mercedes Benz shop? I know that some models need to be hooked up to their computer to be "adjusted" to the car. Thanks for your reply.

A retrofitted CD-Changer works without connecting the car at MB - Star-Diagnosis.
