KD-NX1R Backlight failure

    Hi,


    A few days ago I installed a JVC KD-NX1R (Becker Clone) in my Smart Roadster. It has worked perfectly until today when it would appear that the display backlight has failed.


    I have e-mailed my supplier and am awaiting advice, but I thought I would ask the forum if this is a common problem on the Becker clones and to see if there is an easy fix. I have checked that the front panel is correctly attached and that the connector contacts are clean.

    I assume this is a HW problem.


    Call JVC or send an email with a short problem description to:

    to get a repair number, which is necessary to start the repair / warranty process.


    No shipment costs -JVC will send a parcel service to pick up the defect product.
