xbox on mm5000

    I understand most of the german written in here.. But I need a bit of help in english, so I hope someone will help me. :)


    I have a vdo mm5000 monitor. I would like to use my xbox on this monitor.


    I understand that I can buy a vdo mi2100 interface and some cables to get it all working, but is there a cheaper way to do it? Like using a special cable or something? - If so how do I make such a cable or where can I buy it?


    I have been looking through most of the themes in here. GREAT forum!

    Hi Soren !


    The MM5000 monitor has on the right side a 3.5mm plug for a standard stereo cable. If you use this it provides you an input for a audio-signal (mono) and the video-signal (fbas).


    Now you need a cable from the XBOX who gives a mono audio signal and a video-signal. If you connect both you can play XBOX games on the Dayton-Screen.

    How do I supply power to the monitor from the car battery? I don't have any boxes, cables or remote control.. Bought the mm5000 from a guy who had his car stolen.
