als flammneues Mitglied habe ich gleich mal eine Frage: was ist das für eine Geschwindigkeit, die angezeigt wird, nachdem man die Tasten 1 und 10 gleichzeitig gedrückt hat? Km/h ist es nicht, Meilen/h aber auch nicht. Bei Anzeige 100 fahre ich etwa 140 nach Tacho. Navi ist TP, Software 5.0. Sonstige Navigation funktioniert prima. Das Auto ist ein Saab und der Einbauer hatte ein Problem mit dem Tachosignal, das nicht da anlag, wo es eigentlich sollte, aber wie gesagt: alles funktioniert. Habe ich ein Problem oder was? Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen. Tschüss

Hi there,
The "Geschwindigkeit" you see is the raw pulse-signal count from the wheels of your car (Tachosignal). So it's not in Km/h or any other fixed unit, but often nothing more that the amount of revelations of your wheels.
So if you know the amount of distance you drive per revelation of your wheels, you could calculate the true speed per hour. For some lucky guys this calculation factor is close to "1" so they see the actual Km/h.
When driving at constant speed, this menu should show you a constant number. If this number jumps around a lot, your "Tachosignal" is not of good quality, and you need something like a "signal-shaper" in order to produce a stable tacho....
