Problem with COMAND error B1779

    Hello,


    I am hoping someone here can help me. I am sorry I do not speak German.


    I have a COMAND A208 820 44 89 in my W208 CLK cabriolet. I cannot see any Satellites at all. I see error B1779 0x0000 22 A in the diagnostic screen.


    Can anyone here tell me what this means and what the correct Antennae part number (Teillenumer?) for my car?

    B1779 means: No communication with TV-Tuner. Seems a tuner has sometime be installed and is now missing. This message is not critical.


    Not receiving GPS is another problem, first idea: Change the GPS-Antenna. I don't know which antenna is foreseen for A208 (Cabriolet = A, not W), but you can test it with an universal model.
