Meine Antwort: Nein, hab ich nicht... ;-))))

Becker Pro V6.0 ist alles zusammen 4 CD's. Und fuer jede kopie-CD hab ich ein 700 Mb CD-R benutzt. Die original CD's hab ich in meine "safe" gesteckt.

Und unterwegs bracht man oft nur einer diese CD's.

Und "WayPoint" hat recht; auch bei mir sind es ("nur")690 Mb, und nicht mehr. Ich weiss nicht wie du an 825 Mb kommt (Hast du vieleicht schon V7.0 ??? hihihihi), aber ich denke das da irgendwas schief gegangen is beim kopie herstellen. Ich hab ein direct kopie gemach von original CD zum Brenner (1 CD-R und 1 CD-RW zusammen in ein computer). Vieleicht geht es nicht gut (bei dir) wan man erstens ein kopie auf Festplatte macht, und danach brennt..... (mit nur ein CR-R(W) in deine computer)?????

Hallo Robert,

Bei mir hats geklappt ein Sicherungskopie zu machen. Ich habe CD-R's von Hersteller "Sony" benutzt mit ein Datenvolumen von "700 Mb".

Am anfang hatte ich viele problemen diese Sicherungskopie zu machen, aber das kam nicht durch "zu-kleine" CD-R's, aber durch meine eigene HP-8100-series CD-Brenner. Es gibt ein "bug" in diese CD-Brenner, und das bemerkt sich man nur wann CD's (wie beim Becker) fast ganz voll sind. Vieleicht gibt es mehrere CD-Brenners mit das gleiche Problem.... (oft gibts gleiche hardware fur verschiedene Hersteller...).

Ich hab diese Sicherungskopie mit ein machine von einer Bekannter von mir gemacht, und das functionierte sehr gut.... (Ich weiss leider nicht mehr das Hersteller.....

Ich hoffe das diese Informationen dir helfen, und das du mein Deutsch lesen kann..... Ist ja immer schwierig fuer ein Hollander....

If you enter the "installation menu" of the Becker (press NAV (twice) followed by keys 3 and 5) you are able to see all sattelite info like coordinates on earth, number of satelites, heigth (also when there are less than 5 satelites etc...

But what I would like to know for sure what's the number shown to the left bottom side of the display. In V5 it was marked "G" I think, and in V6 it is marked "D" or so (I'm not sure, but you must know what I'm talking about...)

I do know this number decreases when you receive more satelites, so I guess it's some sort of accuracy indication (Genauigkeit???). But I want to know for sure, and I want to know the precise unit.... ;-)))

For instance I see numbers like 2.0 and 1.8. The best I ever got was 1.6 if I remember correctly. Does this indicate a 1.6 meter accuracy of your location calculation???

And if it indeed is the accuracy in meters; how to calculate with it? An calculation-example for instance: If the heigth is marked "100 m" and this mystery number shows "2.0", within what range is my real height? Is it between 100 +/- 2.0 m, so somewhere in between 98 and 102 meters, or does it indicate a sphere of in-accuracy so my real heigth should be in between 96 and 104 meters....

I'm curious who can solve this.....

Hi there,

The "Geschwindigkeit" you see is the raw pulse-signal count from the wheels of your car (Tachosignal). So it's not in Km/h or any other fixed unit, but often nothing more that the amount of revelations of your wheels.

So if you know the amount of distance you drive per revelation of your wheels, you could calculate the true speed per hour. For some lucky guys this calculation factor is close to "1" so they see the actual Km/h.

When driving at constant speed, this menu should show you a constant number. If this number jumps around a lot, your "Tachosignal" is not of good quality, and you need something like a "signal-shaper" in order to produce a stable tacho....

Hi Becker users,

(I type in English, but can read German, so don't hesitate to react in German.....)

The Becker Traffic Pro version 5.0 has at least one hidden secret menu. But I would like to know if anybody knows more hidden features......

This is the hidden feature I know:
* Make sure that both Radio and Navigation screens are in the default mode (so no double pressing of buttons).
* First press the "Radio" button.
* Then press the "Navigate" button.
* Then press key "1" and "10" simultaneously.

What you now see is the true speed-puls counter and the forward/backward indicator. Be informed that when you are in this hidden menu, all other functions are "off" like the phone mute etc...

In order to leave this hidden screen, press the "1" and "10" keys simultaneously again. No other possibility to leave this screen.

Please add any other hidden features you know.... (I'm looking for hidden screens that report the measured speed in Km/h and height above sealevel...)

(Ich entschuldige mich erstens fur mein Deutsch, es ist nicht meine Heimsprache...

Ich hab mein Becker Pro V5.x schon anderthalb jahre und benutze immer ein Sicherungskopie im meine PKW. (Das muss man in Amsterdam... Der original CD von Becker liegt zuhause im Sicherheitslager..... Ein Sicherungskopie war leicht zu "brennen" mit V5.x.

Kann jemand mir sagen ob man zuhause auch leicht ein Sigerheitskopie von V6.0 machen kann, oder ist er Kopie-geschutzt????
