TrekBuddy map :
First select from the upper form where do you want to start, and the resolution of the image (which will be a slice in fact).
Now it is possible to navigate : move on your map, zoom, and display an overview by clicking the arrow on the bottom left (just upper the GPX button) are possible actions.
You can from there enter a map name, and specify how much slices you want (you will get all links for all your slices).
Note that the current displayed image is the top left image, and all the others slices will be the images on the right and bottom from this one.
Click on the ".MAP" button and copy the content to the same file name, it is the calibration data.
Click on the ".GIF" button. All the links to the slices are displayed. You will have to copy the name of each image and 'save as' the link using this name.
Now you have all needed for a complete map but some work remains (!) : Convert the slices to PNG, create a .set file, and organize all this for TrekBuddy!
(or you can merge big image files and cut them in smaller slices with TBCutter, that's usefull for large maps ;)
Waypoint feature :
Click on the map to add a waypoint. Enter some text against it on the list to the left of the map.
Click the waypoint again to remove it, or hold it to move it.
To save a GPX file, press "GPX" and copy and paste the displayed XML to a text editor, and then save it.
The GPX file uses waypoints and can be read in TrekBuddy
